Wastewater Treatment Plant
Monsanto Corporation
The wastewater treatment plant for the Monsanto Corporation in Kunia is a great example of a large scale treatment plant. First Quality was asked to install this system, designed by McNulty Civil Engineering, consisting of two 7,000-gallon aerobic treatment tanks, one 1,000-gallon preloader, one 1,500-gallon dosing tank, one 250,000-gallon holding pond, overflow leaching trenches, and 12 zones of ET fields. This treatment facility was installed in conjunction with IWT and Royal Contracting. The system also utilizes two lift stations due to elevation changes in the existing site.
